Kanye West is riding the wave of the release of Donda 2. The album was released exclusively for Kanye’s Stem Player device. The $200 gadget is a steep price for many to pay for one album worth of content that hasn’t been fully released yet.

The hype created by Ye has spurred great interest in his back catalog. Fans have taken to streaming services to get their fill of Kanye’s music. Those who aren’t willing to shell out for a Stem Player but still want their Kanye fix have pushed his music to the top of the Spotify charts.

Kanye bragged about the accomplishment on Instagram. West shared a message from Tariq from Rolling Loud that made note of the news. Kanye simply captioned the screenshot with a black heart emoji.

“@kanyewest simultaneously charts ten projects on the US Spotify albums chart, the most of any artist.”

Having multiple songs or records charting at the same time is nothing new. Gunna once had 15 Billboard Hot 100 hits at the same time. Kanye West knows this is different, as he has been at war with streaming services for months over what he perceives as an unfair revenue share.

Ye didn’t hesitate to let Spotify and all other streaming platforms on notice. Kanye is in demand and generates big money for streaming services. Ye wants them to know that without a better deal, he’s going to keep doing it on his own.
