The first part of Kanye West’s Jeen-Yuhs documentary dropped on Netflix on February 16. The film was very well-received. Fans were excited to watch Kanye in his early days and get a chance to see how he evolved into the complicated figure he is today.

News broke last week that there are hundreds of hours of unused footage of Ye’s life. The filmmakers said there are nearly 350 hours of unused footage that didn’t make the cut. Fans found out and immediately set out on a movement to have more released.

The Watching the Throne podcast covers Kanye West’s life and music in-depth. The hosts recently took to Twitter to make a ridiculous request. They want to see a 400 hour cut of Jeen-Yuhs. Kanye fans sound like they’re here for it.

“Release the 400-hour version of JEEN-YUHS”

“I loved the doc but I feel robbed knowing they got all footage & we only got 3 hour & a half episodes.”

“we want the 400 hours of footage”

“That’s about 600 hours short”

Kanye West certainly has a rabid fan base. The Chicago rapper recently had some hiccups as he launched his latest work, Donda 2, with a nightmare of an event that was plagued by audio problems. We’ll have to wait and see if there will ever be a lengthier cut of Ye’s documentary film.
