Jon Jones is considered one of the best fighters in the history of the UFC for many fans. Since early last year, Jones had made it his life’s mission to go after Francis Ngannou’s UFC Heavyweight Championship. Jones has also been on a mission to get paid.

For the past few months, Jon Jones has made it clear that he wants to return to the Octagon this year and even recently revealed that he plans on becoming a champion in 2022.

Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington’s rivalry is certainly one for the ages. The two former roommates who were very close are now bitter enemies and have a lot of disdain for each other.

While speaking to Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Jorge Masvidal accused Covington of stealing money from former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

“The way he would treat his family was a very big indicator, you know. And then Jon Jones warned me numerous times, you know. Me and Jon Jones weren’t even cool like that. We hadn’t spoken too much, but he sent a couple of messages to me via our managers at that time like ‘Man, watch this guy, he stole my clothes. My clothes don’t even fit him. He robbed me of money before he left the room. I never talked to him again.

And then Colby would just bat him out for Jon Jones always to me in the room, you know, like Jon Jones this, Jon Jones that.”

Jon Jones was also dumped by his fiancee shortly after his arrest as well. It is certain that the UFC will not be happy with the recently surfaced footage. With Jones looking to make his MMA return his year, we wonder if that will even be possible now.
