Robert Pattinson has made a name for himself starring in films such as the Twilight series and many more. He truly displayed his acting skills in The Lighthouse back in 2019. It seems his co-star Colin Farrell ended up scaring his son as well.
Pattinson will be joined by Colin Farrell, who will be portraying the role of The Penguin in the upcoming film. The modern achievements of The Batman’s makeup team are on full display with Farrell’s look as the Penguin.
It was previously revealed that Colin Farrell once walked into a Starbucks while in his Penguin costume so that he could do a test drive for the upcoming DC film.
While speaking to Extra, Collin Farrell revealed that when his son saw him in his Penguin costume, he was utterly horrified at seeing his father and it took some time for him to get used to the costume.
“The first time we did it… Mike Marino, the makeup artist who designed Oz, and his team, there was about 10 of us there that day. We took six to eight hours just putting in the teeth for the first time, the face for the first time, the wig, the bodysuit, the whole thing, and it was really powerful. It just sparked my imagination and continued to every day that I went to work. I just felt like I had such license to inhabit a character in a way that I had never been given such carte blanche before.
My son was utterly horrified. I have it on iPhone. He was horrified and excited, but it took a minute [to get used to].”
Robert Pattinson also recently warned fans that the upcoming Batman film will be very depressing. The film will release on March 4 this year and it remains to be seen whether it will be a huge success or not.
