Linda Evangelista is one of the most accomplished and influential models of all time, with over 700 magazine covers to her credit. After a long time, Linda again got into the limelight. Linda Evangelista was seen without a face mask for the first time after declaring that she was “done hiding” following a botched fat-freezing treatment that left her “permanently disfigured.”

After releasing details of a botched cosmetic fat-freezing treatment that left her “brutally disfigured,” Linda Evangelista is putting on a brave face. After defiantly declaring she was ‘done hiding’ last week, the Canadian-born supermodel was photographed in New York City for the first time without a face mask on Wednesday.

According to Dailymail, Since undergoing paradoxical adipose hyperplasia back in 2016, Linda has hardly been seen. The former cover girl, dressed casually in all-black loungewear, made little attempt to hide her look when she walked by Manhattan’s renowned Chelsea Market a week after her shocking news.

Linda revealed in her frightening interview that she withdrew from the public eye after a cosmetic treatment intended to reduce fat cells left her ‘permanently deformed’ when the procedure actually caused her cells to grow, causing bulges to sprout all over her body. When she spotted the bulges on her body, the ’90s fashion queen confessed that she stopped eating because she worried she was losing her mind.

Linda’s appearance followed the publishing of an article with People Magazine in which she stated that she was “done hiding” after a CoolSculpting surgery that she claimed “brutally disfigured” her.

Linda also posed for the piece for the first time since announcing she had been left ‘permanently disfigured’ by the uncommon side effects of a cosmetic treatment she had six years ago. Linda claimed she had seven sessions of the operation from August 2015 to February 2016 in order to ‘reduce’ her fat cells, but the procedure instead ‘raised’ her fat cells, a risk she claimed that she was not warned about, and she is now pursuing legal action.

According to People, after bulges began to grow around her chin, thighs, and bust area, the Vogue icon stopped eating’ and believed she was losing her mind, and now ‘dreads running into someone she knows’ after decades as a catwalk wonder. She also posed for images that revealed her chest and leg growths.

“I loved being up on the catwalk. Now I dread running into someone I know. I can’t live like this anymore, in hiding and shame. I just couldn’t live in this pain any longer. I’m willing to finally speak.”

“I tried to fix it myself, thinking I was doing something wrong. I got to where I wasn’t eating at all. I thought I was losing my mind.”

Linda has put up a lot of resistance before finally succeeding. Fans have been waiting for their model to return, and she has finally arrived. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
