Grey’s Anatomy is currently one of the longest-running television shows out there, with its 17th season having ended a while ago. The show made its debut in 2005 and was a smash hit with fans and critics alike. It remains ABC’s most popular drama.

Throughout its duration, the show has featured several characters being killed off or actors leaving the show. It was reported earlier that fan-favorite Jesse Williams confirmed that he will be leaving the show and that happened on an important episode of the show. On top of that, even Greg Germann left the show as a series regular.

Kate Walsh already made her return to the show during the show’s 18th season. Sandra Oh left the show many years ago and made it clear she is never coming back.

According to a report by Deadline, actor Richard Flood, who portrayed Grey Sloan’s pediatric surgeon Dr. Cormac Hayes, will be leaving the show during the 10th episode of this season, which will air next week.

Flood made his Grey’s Anatomy debut in Season 16 as a recurring character and then became a series regular as well. Quite a few actors left the show during its current season as well.

The show’s creator also previously admitted she has no idea how it will end. It remains to be seen how the show will even end, as it is unlikely the series will conclude anytime soon.
