LeBron James is one of the most influential people on the planet. The NBA star is also a business mogul. King James’ face is known around the world.

When LeBron speaks, people listen. James has never been shy about making a political statement. The Lakers star has even backed up some controversial takes about the Chinese government.

LeBron’s latest statement is one we can all agree on. James posted an Instagram photo with a very poignant message. Hate is a learned behavior, he noted. The message was printed on the t-shirt LeBron was wearing.

“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his religion, or his background. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

LeBron James wants people to know that love can be learned just as well as hate. It’s a positive message in a world that could use them. If one person reads his message and is inspired, then his influence was positive this time.

The message comes as LeBron James faces a stressful time in his basketball career. The Los Angeles Lakers are in a struggle for their playoff lives. James is trying to keep things positive as he enjoys the remainder of the All-Star break.
