Nick Cannon never shies away from talking about his personal life in public. The 41-year-old American television host recently refuted a public claim about his children being unplanned.

Cannon has seven children he shares with different mothers and is expecting an eighth child soon. He has confessed to having intimate relationships with some of the mothers of his children. However, he has denied the women are “sister wives.”

The new child Cannon is expecting is with model Brei Tiesi, and it’s been confirmed that it’s a boy. He shares 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, son Golden and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell, and twins Zion and Zillion with Abby De La Rosa.

On a recent episode of the Nick Cannon show, Cannon sat down with his therapist Laura Berman where he spoke about “intimacy” he has women in his life:

“I think that’s what I struggle with because, clearly if I care for someone, if I have a child with someone, there has been intimacy. And there probably will continue to be intimacy because there’s true, authentic love there,”

“I think they have to (know that). I think the world knows. And it’s easy to say, ‘Look, let’s just focus on our child or children,’ and then what ends up happening… then one good night at Nobu and the sake gets going… that chemistry… I’m a lover. I’m a hopeless romantic. You put me in the right environment with someone I have a child with? And I watch you be an amazing mother. Of course, I’m attracted to you. Everything’s complicated. Some of the women that I’m involved with deal with it better than others. I think they’re all secure in themselves to even have to deal with a person like me.”

Cannon certainly does not have any romantic involvement with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. However, he has publicly expressed wanting to get back with her not too long ago. Only time will tell if the two will ever be able to patch things up.
