Eminem is set to perform on the Super Bowl LVI Halftime show, set for February 13th. Ahead of his performance on the show, Em sat down with SiriusXM’s Sway Calloway and revealed his thoughts on the big night.

Aside from Eminem, superstars and hip-hop legends like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar will also perform on the halftime show. Not too long ago, Dr. Dre opened up in a press conference how he plans to prevent Eminem and Snoop Dogg from pulling their penises out during the show. Eminem was ready to admit that this is a nerve-wracking experience.

“I’m gonna tell you, it’s f*cking nerve-wracking,”

“To me, there’s nothing more final than live TV. You know what I’m saying? So if you f*ck up, your f*ck up is there forever.”

Eminem also opened up about Dr. Dre’s plans for the show,

“When Dre first asked, when the whole thing started going down and we were like, ‘ok, this might be actually serious.’ I was trying to envision what Dre might do,”

“I was thinking like, ‘yeah, it’s dope that all of us are gonna rap together.’ […] I didn’t expect it to be, like the production to be like this.”

This year’s big game will see Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals face off against each other inside SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Eminem is rooting for the Los Angeles Rams, because of quarterback Matthew Stafford’s connection to the Detroit rapper’s hometown.

The full interview with Eminem will air on Friday, February 11 on SiriusXM’s Shade 45, the rapper’s exclusive channel. So be sure to catch it.
