Jerry Harris has been at the center of an ongoing child pornography case against him. To the shock of his fans, the “Cheer” star ended up entering the plea of being guilty in the case.

According to TMZ, the case started off about 18 months ago, but Harris just filed the plea. Harris filed the plea at the Chicago Federal court on Thursday, supposedly bringing an end to the 18 month long case.

Harris has been the subject of an FBI investigation since May 2019. The actor allegedly solicited minors for sex. The FBI say that Jerry asked Inappropriate lewd photos from teenage boys, which they actually ended up sending.

The judge revealed to Harris that the sentencing guidelines dictate that he should get a prison sentence for up to 50 years. However, it all falls down on the judge, which will reveal in the June 28 hearing.

Harris had a quick rise to fame after season one of the popular Netflix series premiered. However, his image quickly plummeted as he was arrested in Illinois in September. Jerry was 19 at the time of his arrest, while the alleged victims were close to 13.
