Billie Eilish Meets With President Joe Biden At The White House

Billie Eilish is continuing her Happier Than Ever world tour with her brother. Her brother, Finneas, actually co-writes and produces his sister’s songs. Billie and Finneas might be busy, but they made a pit stop at the White House while on the singer’s world tour.

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas were invited to the White House by “long-time fan” President Joe Biden on Tuesday, 9th February. They have taken a sweet photo with President Joe Biden. The newly Oscar nominated singer and her sibling posed with the 46th president as he shared the moment to social media.

The President posted the photo on USA government’s official tweeter account on 10th February. “When I heard my friends @billieeilish and @finneas were in town for a show, I knew I had to invite them over to the White House,” he captioned the post. “Great to see you and your family and I’m glad you got to meet Commander,” he wrote, speaking of the family’s new German Shepard puppy.

Not only the Lost Cause singer and her sibling, her parents Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell also joined them to visit the White House. Billie and Finneas were supporters during Biden’s campaign. On the other hand Biden family have been long time fans of their music.

In November, Biden supporter Billie signed a petition along with Joaquin Phoenix and several other celebrities. In that she requested the 79-year-old president send a pardoned turkey to stay at Farm Sanctuary for Thanksgiving. She also asked people to step away from the tradition of eating turkey for the traditional dinner in favour of trying a vegetarian alternative.

Billie is in Washington for her world tour, playing at the Capital One Arena tonight.
