Dr. Dre and Eminem already have an impressive list of fellow performers set for this weekend’s Super Bowl halftime show. Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar will join the iconic rappers for what promises to be one of the biggest performances yet. There is always the chance of a few surprises, so fans have been on the lookout for clues.

A Brazilian Eminem fan account tweeted an alleged video of 50 Cent’s hit “In Da Club” being rehearsed at SoFi Stadium, site of Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals. Further fueling the rumors is the fact that the video has since been removed due to a copyright strike. The lack of evidence means this story is just a rumor and should be taken with a huge grain of salt.

Dr. Dre has promised one of the greatest Super Bowl halftime shows ever. The star-studded lineup would only shine brighter with a bona fide superstar like 50 Cent. Dre thinks it will be unforgettable.

“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career. I’m grateful to Jay-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”

The alleged video could be anything. Since it was removed, the entire thing could be a misunderstanding. In Da Club is a popular enough song that it could be played at basically any event in any stadium. There could be nothing at all to the rumor.

While 50 Cent’s Super Bowl halftime show could be just a clout-seeking Twitter user, fans are still excited about the prospect. We’ll have to see if 50 Cent shows up at the Super Bowl or not. Without more evidence, fans should remain skeptical.
