Dolly Parton is currently in fourth place on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame public voting chart, but the country diva is now trending on Twitter. This was due to an incredibly generous gesture that makes her even more of a trailblazer.

Dollywood is a theme park in Knoxville, Tennessee, owned by entertainer Dolly Parton jointly with Herschend Family Entertainment. The operating partner of the resort announced that they are now going to cover the entire educational costs of their employees.

More specifically, the tuition costs, fees, and books for all those employees who want to pursue higher education. But here’s where it gets interesting it includes all part-time, full-time, and seasonal employees from day one on the job.

Eugene Naughton, president of The Dollywood Company, said this in a statement:

“We know when our hosts are happy and feel cared for that they are going to pass that along to our guests,” “The creation of the program allows another avenue for us to care for our hosts.”“One of The Dollywood Foundation’s key tenets is to ‘learn more.’ This program is created with that very tenet in mind,” “We want our hosts to develop themselves through advanced learning to fulfill the foundation’s other tenets: care more, dream more, and be more. When our hosts strive to grow themselves, it makes our business and our community a truly better place.”

Tuition will be covered by Grow U pilot program. Seasonal, part-time and full-time employees will be able to pursue diploma, degree and certificate programs across 30 learning partners at absolutely no personal cost.

Herschland Enterprises who is operating partner of the Dolly’s resort, will also provide partial funding for 150 additional programs in fields including hospitality, engineering, human resources, and art design, as reported by Knoxville’s ABC 6.

The pilot program is set to launch at the near end of this month. This has taken Twitter by storm with many verified accounts and users with millions of followers applauding the 76-year-old country superstar.
