Jake Paul Believes Social Media Can Make Canelo Alvarez Fight Happen

Canelo Alvarez is considered one of the greatest professional boxers of all time and it is hard to argue why. Alvarez faced off against Caleb Plant for the IBF champion last year. It seems Jake Paul is confident about a fight against Canelo Alvarez.

Last year, the Pound for pound king had an all-out war with Caleb Plant and brutalized him. Caleb tried his best but simply couldn’t match up to Alvarez’s offence. In the end, Alvarez won in the 11th round. Thus, Alvarez became boxing’s only undisputed unified super middleweight champion. 

Due to this, Jake Paul hilariously asked if he should sign Alvarez to his Most Valuable Promotions. The Problem Child also made it clear he wants to throw down with Canelo Alvarez in the future.

While speaking with iFL TV, Jake Paul talked about squaring off against Canelo Alvarez again and stated that he believes the power of social media can make the fight happen.

“He’s cool with Ryan Garcia, right? So he knows the power of social media and how that’s the new era of boxing. They train at the same gym. So he’s Team Canelo, Ryan Garcia is Team Canelo. He knows. It’s gonna happen. It may seem crazy but it’s gonna happen.”

Jake Paul also previously stated that he can do some real damage to Canelo Alvarez. We will have to wait and see if that fight does happen in the future, as fans would love to see it.
