Things are not going too well for the King of Staten Island. Recently he’s had to hire extra security to protect him from Kanye West. Now it seems that he might have to further beef up his security.

The reason behind this is Pete’s own comments. In a three year old interview with Howard Stern, Davidson had called the city of Syracuse “trash,” and it seems that the citizens have not yet forgiven the slight.

Davidson was recently attending a basketball game at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse on Saturday, where he faced the consequences of his comment. Those in attendance were not happy to see Davidson there.

Davidson was trying to keep a low profile, sporting a gray hoodie, sunglasses and a Cuse hat. This could possibly be attributed to the cold welcome he received, with natives booing him during the basketball game.

Thankfully, things did not heat up too much, as both Davidson and the natives brushed it off with a laugh. The Howard Stern interview was not the only time Davidson had dissed the city, stating in 2019 that “the whole town of Syracuse blows.” Check out the tweet below.
