Billie Joe Armstrong is responsible for some of the best punk tracks in rock n roll history. His lyrics and anthems thrilled fans for decades, but now he is turning to them for help.

The Green Day frontman logged onto Instagram to let them know that his treasured car was stolen. That 1964 Chevy II means a lot to the Green Day story and now he has no idea who took it. He also included a phone number that anyone can call if they can help.

This seems like a legit incident with a police report with the Costa Mesa authorities attached.

Let’s hope that Billie Joe gets his car back. That is quite a ride to lose and an infuriating situation indeed.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
