LeBron James has not tried to keep the fact that the Lakers aren’t having a great season a secret. LeBron has said that the team has no chemistry. The team simply can’t find their groove this year.

Skip Bayless revels in the failures of LeBron James. The Undisputed co-host is widely known to troll King James at every possible juncture. That included a shot he took after the Lakers’ most recent loss to the rival L.A. Kings.

Bayless criticized LeBron for congratulating Reggie Jackson’s last-second shot that won the game. Skip said Kobe Bryant would never lose his competitive edge in such a manner. The controversial talking head also believes Lakers fans haven’t fully taken to LeBron.

“I’m not sure Laker Nation ever completely embraced LeBron, even after the Bubble Championship. He ain’t Kobe. Kobe Bryant would never have tweeted congratulations to any Clippers player following a Lakers loss.”

Rival loudmouth Stephen A. Smith recently used Kobe’s name to diss another NBA player. This could be a case of the market research showing that audiences who enjoy bloviating nonsense would like to see more use of Kobe’s name in insults. Skip Bayless might be keeping up with the Joneses.

LeBron James was simply making a show of good sportsmanship to an opponent who bested him. In Skip Bayless’ world, that qualifies as weakness. We’ll see if LeBron has anything to say in response to Skip using Kobe Bryant to throw shade at him.
