Johnny Knoxville Might Not Be Finished With WWE

Johnny Knoxville recently competed in the WWE Royal Rumble match. The Jackass star had a feud with Sami Zayn in the lead-up to the event. Zayn eliminated the daredevil in short order. The appearance was generally well-received.

Reports suggested that Knoxville was finished with WWE. That could change if fan reaction proves positive enough. A recent survey sent out by the company to fans wanted to know what the WWE Universe thought of Johnny Knoxville.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider reported the news. Fans were asked their thoughts on Knoxville’s WWE appearances. They were also encouraged to rate how excited they would be if Johnny appeared again.

“Most Interesting to note that as part of the survey, WWE asked whether fans would want to see additional appearances from Knoxville on WWE programming and to rate how excited they would be for Knoxville to appear again.”

The Royal Rumble was supposed to be Johnny Knoxville’s final WWE appearance. The feud with Sami Zayn could be revisited in the future. There are plenty of things WWE could do with the famed stuntman.

Jackass: Forever premiered in Los Angeles last night. Sami Zayn crashed the red carpet to confront Knoxville and the Jackass crew. The setup is there to continue the story. Knoxville was scheduled to appear on the SmackDown before the Rumble, as well, but the weather kept him from attending.

We’ll have to wait and see if WWE wants to bring back Johnny Knoxville. Of course, Knoxville would also have to be interested. It appears he enjoyed this run, so we can’t rule out another in the future.
