Liza Morales and Lamar Odom have a history of strife. Earlier, Liza accused Lamar Odom of being a deadbeat dad in court. This time around, Liza Morales has more to say.

Morales has had two children with the former NBA player. She claimed in an earlier lawsuit that Odom stopped paying child support in June 2020, breaching their 2015 agreement. It was also alleged that their son was not able to attend a four-year college because Odom didn’t pay.

Morales opened up about her “trauma” from dating Lamar Odom in her new book. Morales and Odom began dating in 1996 and became engaged in 2000, but they were never married. Lamar Odom recently expressed interest in his ex Khloe Kardashian again following her split with Tristan Thompson.

“Lamar was a pivotal point of my life,” she recently told Page Six. “I have not spoken to him in a year-and-a-half and that’s why [the book is] called ‘Cutting Trauma Ties’ — that title is for a reason. I did experience a lot of trauma dealing with him … my kids, my family has experienced a lot of trauma dealing with Lamar in such a public way, but we dealt with his addiction privately for years.” Liza Morales was last seen on season 9 of the VH1 reality television series Basketball Wives that premiered in March of 2021.

Khloe Kardashian’s ex has struggled with drug abuse in the past. Liza Morales discusses Odom’s history of addiction and more in her upcoming book, Cutting Trauma Ties. “I am going to talk about what really went down in Vegas,” Morales added, referring to a time when Odom overdosed. Cutting Trauma Ties is set to release in May 2022.
