Kardashian sisters are the trendsetters when it comes to fashion. Like everything else in life the Kardashians also try to monetize their “used” clothing. Given their huge closet, the Kardashians have a lot of items to get rid of and make money off them while they are at it.

Kim K took to her Instagram stories on Friday to announce that she “added new items” to the resell site Kardashian Kloset. Kim scrolled through a long list of high-end used clothing. The list included a used robe for over $700.

The Sun reports, followers were shocked to see the reality TV star selling the previously owned items for astronomical prices. Many fans raced the Kardashian Kloset Instagram to slam the Kardashian clan for profiting off items what could’ve been “gifted” to begin with.

“Y’all have so much money. Why not donate these items ? Or the proceeds to a good cause?” one urged. “Why is everything so expensive on here? Don’t they get half the things for free? As PR?” a second asked. Many fans pointed out that this makes the already rich Kardashian-Jenners multiply their wealth unfairly. “Donate your clothes!” one remarked, while another suggested: “Maybe a once in a while donation to a women’s shelter or send the proceeds wouldn’t that be a great thing.”

As is the case with fashion influencers, many brands ship them their collections for promotions. Kardashians being the most popular influencers fall in the receiving end when it comes to free gifts from top brands. Kim has even publicly acknowledged the fact that many of the clothing and other items she owns were “gifted” as PR.

Kylie faced backlash for selling used Birkin bags for 65k. The recent expensive resell comes as a shock as Kim Kardashians’ fortunes have not stopped exponentially growing. Her shapewear brand SKIMS was recently valued at 1 billion.
