Kobe Bryant is being celebrated the world over today. January 26, 2022 marks two years since Bryant, his daughter Gigi, and others were tragically killed in a helicopter accident. Basketball fans and Bryant’s teammates and loved ones are still in shock after all this time.

Lamar Odom played with Kobe from 2004 to 2011. The two remained close friends even after basketball was in their past. Odom’s manager, Tonita B., commemorated Kobe’s memory with a very special gift for Lamar.

TMZ Sports has reported that Odom was gifted a diamond chain by his manager that includes a charm depicting Kobe and his daughter, Gianna. The scene forever captures their close relationship. Gigi is kissing Kobe’s head, based on an iconic photo of the pair at a Lakers game.

The chain was designed by Scoobie Da Jeweler. It is made from 25 carats of diamonds. The chain is worth $17,000.

On the reverse of the charm, there is a special inscription. It is a quote from Kobe Bryant. It says, “Rest at the end, not in the middle.”

Tonita wanted to do something special for Lamar to commemorate Lamar Odom’s friend on this solemn day. Lamar posted about the gift on social media. Odom said Kobe meant the world to him. Now, he can always be reminded of his great friend and teammate.
