Zac Efron made a name for himself starring in Disney’s High School Musical series. He eventually honed his craft and acted in a variety of films and also became one of Hollywood’s biggest hunks.

Zac Efron has partnered with AT&T and recently shared a hilarious new commercial for it. The Baywatch star is part of the company’s “Life, Gig-ified” campaign helping to announce their new multi-gig internet speeds AT&T Fiber 2-Gig and 5-Gig.

In the newest commercial, Efron portrayed a long-bearded fisherman next to himself as they discuss the pros of AT&T’s new service. His “fisherman” character took out a tray of ready-made cocktail shrimp, as he talked about the system’s “superhighway of band with.” 

Efron then took off a virtual reality helmet and joked, “This fishing game’s nuts.” Efron also took to his Instagram and shared the commercial there with an amusing caption.

“I thought I understood the relationship between fishing and the internet, but then here comes #ATTFiber, now delivering up to 5-Gigs of speed. Totally game-changing. Literally

The Hollywood heartthrob will always remain in the news for his looks, but sometimes he might get called out for something unexpected as well.
