Bravo fans were outraged on social media recently after a viral post alleged that Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had been cancelled. A fan posted a capture of what appeared to be a DM with Housewives head honcho Andy Cohen. Cohen apparently said the show had been cancelled.

As with many things on social media, the screenshot and the direct message turned out to be a fraud. A fan retweeted the screenshot. Cohen immediately responded to squash the rumor.

“That is fake”

Ratings for RHOSLC hit an all time high in January of 2022. Some fans haven’t been happy with the show. Still, the series has been successful. That hasn’t stopped viewers from clamoring for change. The entire Housewives universe has been a hit for Bravo despite this criticism. The series is even looking to expand into new markets such as Dubai.

Andy Cohen couldn’t be clearer with his denial of the rumors. It appears the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are safe for now. Time will tell what the future holds for the show.

Bad information circulates online all the time. It’s easy to fall for a good Photoshop job. Andy Cohen was fortunate to learn of the rumors quickly and extinguish any ongoing speculation.
