R. Kelly is yet to overcome from his on-going courtroom battle against several sexual misconduct charges. However, this might not be case with his ex-manager James Mason.

TMZ reported, R. Kelly’s former manager, James Mason has agreed to stay away from R. Kelly’s girlfriend, her dad and their family. This resulted in the case against James for terroristic threats case being dismissed.

A representative for Henry County’s D.A’s office told the outlet, the case against Mason was dismissed last month after he agreed to a permanent protective order that prohibits him from having any contact with Kelly’s girlfriend, her father and their family.

Kelly’s girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage’s dad told the outlet that Mason called him 2018 and threatened him by saying, “I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I’m gonna get you, I’m going to f***ing kill you.” Following the incident, an arrest warrant was issued against him for felony terroristic threats.

Mason eventually turned himself in but was released after he posted a $10K bail. The case against him is now a thing of the past. Meanwhile, Joycelyn has stuck by Kelly’s side amid the courtroom drama and adamantly denied she’s being held against her will. However, her parents refuse to believe the narrative and claim that she has been brainwashed.
