Patrick Mahomes is one game away from yet another Super Bowl appearance. The phenomenal Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has taken down some serious competition along the way. Last week, Mahomes and his teammates ended the career for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The two made a great showing of mutual respect after the game.

Josh Allen led the Buffalo Bills to within seconds of advancing to the AFC Championship. The shootout victory was decided in overtime when KC won the coin toss and Mahomes went to work. Allen’s playoffs were nearly perfect. It still wasn’t enough to overcome the Chiefs.

After the game, Mahomes sprinted to midfield so he could find Josh Allen. The two embraced and shared some words. Patrick was all smiles as he congratulated the Buffalo QB on an incredible postseason.

The Buffalo Bills have struggled to find relevance since losing four consecutive Super Bowls in the 1990’s. Josh Allen and this year’s squad gave them their best hope in ages. Patrick Mahomes was simply too much for the Bills defense.

The Kansas City Chiefs will move on to the AFC Championship where they will take on the Cincinnati Bengals. In the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers will go head-to-head with the Los Angeles Rams. The winner of those games will head to the Super Bowl.

Patrick Mahomes has made the Super Bowl 50% of the time during his career so far. One more victory over the Bengals will place him back in the big game. It’s no wonder fans are already starting to talk about the Chiefs as the next NFL dynasty.
