Demi Lovato is one of the leading pop stars of this age. While they may make headlines for a lot different reasons than just music, it seems that they have something unique in store for the fans.

Lovato shared an image alongside music executives from Island Records, as well as their manager, Scooter Braun. With both middle fingers up, Lovato captioned the image, “A funeral for my pop music.

Everyone, alongside Lovato, wore full black in the picture, truly signifying a funeral. It seems that Lovato is going to trade off their signature pop music for something more alongside the lines of rock.

The 29 year old singer’s Instagram story revealed that one of the music executives from the picture said “You put out whatever music you want, whenever you want to. break the rules.

Lovato shrieked with excitement after hearing the music executive out. They shared some snippets from their new upcoming rock song, which has fans quite excited given the nature of the change. The snippets revealed the lyrics, which were:

Yeah you’re pushing me to the edge/ Prod me, lie to me, ungodly things have been sent/ Here are your tickets to the freak show baby, sci-fi, watch the freak go crazy

Nobody knows what the name of the new single from Lovato is gonna be. However, this is not the first time Demi Lovato has produced rock music. Two of her first albums via Disney’s Hollywood Records featured rock production. Fans are hyped about her new music regardless.
