Ari Lennox has had a tough time the last couple of months. The R&B singer was arrested in Amsterdam after she claimed she was racially profiled. Ari received a ton of negative media backlash over the incident. She has since returned to recording studio to focus on her music.

Lennox can’t seem to escape the negativity. Ari recently did an interview with Podcast and Chill. Things went off the rails when host Macgyver Mukwevho asked a very offensive question.

The podcaster asked Ari if anyone was “f*cking her good” right now. Ari was visibly taken aback. The question was a reference to Ari’s own lyrics on the track “Pop.”

“Oh my God. Whoa there! That’s a wild question. Why ask it that way? Whoa,”

In a lengthy Twitter rant, Ari Lennox said she will never do another interview again. The singer felt ambushed. Ari said the podcast crew told her the negative bits would be destroyed.

“But f*ck it! I don’t want anyone feeling sorry for me. I’m tired of the narrative. Exhausted. I’m good I promise. But as for interviews I’m not doing them anymore. There’s enough lives and interviews out there already.”

Ari Lennox just can’t escape controversy. As an artist, she’s hoping to just focus on her music and wants to leave the media behind. Time will tell if the strategy pays off.
