Young Dolph’s passing left a huge void in the rap industry. It had a huge impact to those around him. The rapper’s suspected killers have been quickly apprehended by the police after they were on the run.

The cases against Young Dolph’s murder suspects are moving forward swiftly. The Memphis rapper was shot down months ago and just recently two of the suspects were named, Justin Johnson, aka Straight Dropp, and Cornelius Smith.

Justin and Cornelius appeared at a court hearing this week where their charges were listed. The charge list also included an attempted murder for shooting at Dolph’s brother during the incident. Local Memphis news station ABC24 reported,

23-year-old Justin Johnson – a Memphis rapper known as Straight Drop – and 32-year-old Cornelius Smith were each indicted on counts of first-degree premeditated murder, attempted first-degree murder, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, employment of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony, and theft of property over $10,000.

Johnson also faces additional charges of violating terms connected to a rape conviction back in 2015. The pair are scheduled to make another court appearance at the end of this month.
