Louie Anderson is one of the biggest comedy legends ever. However, he is going through one of the most difficult phases of his life as he is in the middle of battling cancer.

Anderson got admitted in a Las Vegas hotel, as per a recent report by TMZ. The comedian is getting treated for Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Anderson’s representative Glenn Schwartz stated that he is settling into the hospital nicely, and ready to start work on himself.

The comedian’s Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is one of the most aggressive forms of cancer. However, it is considered largely curable, and it’s also one of the most common non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancers which occur.

Louie Anderson has a pretty iconic status in the industry as he was part of “Coming to America” and “Baskets.” One of the most recent bits from him were about his funny visit to a doctor’s office. While his struggle with cancer is no secret, nobody knows when he was diagnosed with it.
