Cardi B dropped her last album, Invasion of Privacy four years ago. Since then she’s only released a handful of singles such as “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion and “Up”. Fans are desperate for a new album from the musician.

It seems their prayers have been answered. Recently, a clip went viral which showed Cardi putting in time at the studio. Although, the video doesn’t show Cardi herself but the make-shift studio that someone on her team created. Cardi can be heard saying, “Look what Ed built me in this ghetto ass studio,” before laughing.

When the singer is not working the extra hours to record new music, she’s busy finding time to do other things such as contemplating a face tattoo. On Jan. 17, the 29-year old took to Twitter where she revealed that she’s very close to getting inked on her face in honor of her toddler son who was born in Sept. 4, 2021.

Cardi wrote on her Tweet, “Random but …. I’m 1% close too tatting my sons name on my face….I really really wanna do it,” She also said she plans to get the tattoo along her jawline. It’s unclear what prompted this sudden realization of Cardi.

However, some fans were worried that she might lose her corporate partnerships if she gets the tattoo. They even went as far as digging up an old tweet of Cardi’s saying she was happy she never got a face tattoo at the age of 16. We will have to wait and see if she goes through with her plan.
