Abby Lee Miller suffered quite a tragedy at the Hampton Inn. After a door fell on her and caused her a lot of distress, Miller thinks that the blame goes all to the Hampton Inn authorities.

The “Dance Moms” star said that she felt the crushing weight of the door for about 12 minutes before she could get away from it, according to TMZ. Miller revealed that she was the guest at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Santa Monica back in 2020.

Miller went to the bathroom of her own room. While she was wheeling herself out, the left tire of her wheelchair got stuck on the door. That’s when the huge 300-pound door went down on her and pinned her on the spot.

Abby kept screaming for her until two staffers heard her and helped her. She was taken to a hospital where she received the treatment. The star claims to be still going through physical therapy to deal with these symptoms.

Miller has been in the wheelchair since 2018 as she battles lymphoma. The door was enough ground for the lawsuit, but other troubles that she faced in the hotel from March to October 2020 such as accessibility issues to disabled people and other inconveniences add a lot more weight to it.
