Justin Johnson, aka Straight Dropp, was arrested for the murder of Memphis rapper Young Dolph earlier this month. He was briefly on the run from police last week. Once Johnson was identified, he claimed he would turn himself in but instead dropped a music video before being apprehended in Indiana.

Young Dolph’s murder is another addition to the violent history of the rap world. Dolph had dedicated much of his life to the music industry all while empowering budding artists to remain independent.

Following his brutal murder, three suspects have been arrested so far including 23-year old Justin Johnson. He has been charged with murder, firearm possession and even theft charges. In addition of these it appears he will also be hit with sex offender charges.

VladTV reported, Johnson’s entire crime history and it includes some other heavy charges which ultimately added to his trouble after he got arrested last week. When Johnson was 17, he was hit with an aggravated rape charge which landed him on the sex offender list.

When he was arrested last week, it was revealed that he was in violation of the sex offender registry, which lead to another charge that he eventually posted bail for. Justin is still in jail awaiting word from the courts in regards to his murder charge.

Justin’s crime history include him serving nine months in jail after a shooting at a bowling alley, while also being indicted for drug and handgun offenses. It also includes a federal gun charge from 2018. We will be on the lookout for more updates. Stay tuned to Thirsty.
