A shooting took place at a rap concert in Eugene, Oregon on Friday, and left six people injured. At least one of the victims is in a critical condition. The incident took place at WOW Hall, near the University of Oregon.

As per a KGW8 report, the shooting began around 9:30 P.M., just as rappers Lil Bean and Zay Bang appeared on stage. The Eugene Police Department stated that they received at least thirty calls about shots being fired.

Following the incident, Eugene Police Chief Chris Skinner held a news conference describing what had happened. The police had arrived to a “hectic scene of people who had been shot near the back entrance of the venue.”

What law enforcement found when they came on scene is what you would exactly expect when six people just got shot. People are just trying to get out of here, their friends are on the ground, they’re trying to help.

More than two dozen patrol cars from multiple agencies had responded. Five of the victims were taken to a hospital, while one victim went to the hospital on their own.

Four male victims and two female victims have been identified, of whom one is in critical condition, while the others are “stable.” No arrests have been made as of yet, but the police are looking for a “male with a hoody.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, and we wish them a speedy recovery. Check out the following posts about the incident.
