Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet tied the knot after an eleven-year romantic relationship. They share a two children together, Lola, 14 and Nakoa-wolf, 13. On Jan 12, Jason announced his split from Lisa on his Instagram. Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet’s split may not be as recent as it seems.

According to OK! Magazine, the famous couple had been living separate lives for some time before they broke the news to the public this Wednesday. Momoa and Bonet, who were together for 16 years, and married back in 2017, wrote in a joint statement that revealed the same.

They went on to say that they were making their split public “not because [they] think it’s newsworthy but so that as [they] go about [their] lives [they] may do so with dignity and honesty.” According to reports, the couple hasn’t been seen together in a long time, with their most recent public appearance occurring in February 2020 at Tom Ford’s A/W ’20 presentation.

Bonet, for one, has kept a low profile and hasn’t been seen on the island or on the filming of the film. she was also absent from the premiere of Dune in late 2020, in which the Game of Thrones actor played a formidable sword-master named Duncan.
