Eminem Receives Huge Props From The British Phonographic Industry

Eminem is one of the most successful rappers of all time. From hitting a huge milestone for his YouTube channel to being eligible for 8X platinum status, Slim Shady’s achievements continue to mount. The rapper has now received two more certificates in the UK.

Singles Kamikaze and Superman were awarded silver and gold certificates from the British Phonographic Industry yesterday. Superman, released in 2004 on The Eminem Show, was BRIT certified in 2018. The single was certified at the Silver level for selling 200,000 units.

Superman jumped to the Gold level much faster, selling another 200,000 in under four years. For Kamikaze it is the first BRIT certificate. However, it has sold 200,000 certified units in the same 3.5 years.

Marshall still killing it and breaking all kinds of records. Eminem is a near-permanent fixture on the Billboard and Spotify charts and we are here for it. It only remains to be seen, how long it will take for Kamikaze to move to the next level now.
