Supporters of ex-president Donald Trump stormed the United States Capitol building on January 6, 2021, in an effort to stop the legal counting of electoral votes. Joe Biden won a free and fair election. Trump’s legions were there to stop a peaceful transfer of power. Some of them even made music videos about their exploits.

AllHipHop put together a collection of raps and music videos January 6th rioters posted on the internet. One of them has been sentenced to house arrest for their involvement. Two others are waiting to be sentenced.

Billy Knutson, known by his rap name of Playboy The Beast, has been charged with disorderly conduct in the Capitol building. Knutson dropped “Patriots: Message to the World” about his participation on his YouTube channel. A family member told federal authorities about the clip and he was soon tracked down.

Felipe Marquez has been sentenced to three months of home confinement for his role in the insurrection. He dropped a remix of “It Wasn’t Me” by Shaggy. Marquez’ song made light of the seriousness of the situation.

Antoinne Brodnax goes by the rap name Bugzie the Don. The cover of his rap album features the auspicious title, “The Capital (sic).” A scene from the riot makes up the background of the artwork.
