Pete Davidson has become one of the most talked about celebrities in the recent years. Keeping his high-profile relationships aside, Pete is truly a very talented young man. Perhaps we might get to see Pete hosting the Oscars this year.

The Oscars were hosted by Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel in 2017 and 2018. In 2021, for the third year in a row, the ceremony was host-less. Luckily, the 2022 Academy Awards will have a host.

No one has been officially announced yet. Many actors have shown interest, like Tom Holland. It’s understandable that the Academy would want a host who’s popular with The Youths after years of declining ratings.

Pete Davidson recently hosted NBC’s well-received New Year’s Eve coverage with Miley Cyrus. It seems very likely that he will be the host of Oscars 2022. The New York Post reports that Pete Davidson is “in talks” to host the Oscars.

His people are talking to producers, He gets a demographic that is hard to get. He is in a good space, his career is doing well, and he is on the rise. He is a sex symbol, unlikely, but he is big with a certain generation.

The awards show, directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Will Packer, is set to air on ABC on March 27. Packer previously produced the 2019 film What Women Want. Coincidentally, the movie starred Davidson in the role of an assistant to Taraji P. Henson’s hard-hitting sports agent character. Given that he is “in talks” with the producers already, there’s a good chance he’ll make it.
