Nicki Minaj can finally be at ease. A lawsuit claiming that Nicki harassed and threatened the woman who accused her husband of sexual assault has been dropped. Nicki is planning to go after the woman to cough up money lost in legal fees.

Jennifer Hough filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Kenneth Petty. After that, she went on to file another lawsuit against Petty and his wife – Nicki Minaj. In the second lawsuit, Hough claimed that the couple sent people to “harass” her and called them “criminals” for this.

Nicki has blasted the accuser, Jennifer Hough for blatantly lying in the past. According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the lawsuit against Nicki stands dismissed. This dismissal was made on Wednesday by Jennifer Hough.

Nicki’s attorney, Judd Burstein, told TMZ that Jennifer and her lawyers thought they could shake Nicki down for some easy money. Their initial idea was to try to financially settle it. However, TMZ reported that there was not any sort of financial settlement reached.

Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, remains a defendant. Kenneth was convicted of trying to rape Jennifer in 1995, when they were both 16. She’s since spoken publicly about the ordeal. Jennifer had then unsuccessfully tried to sue Nicki for harassing her and asking to change her stance on Kenneth.
