Patrick Mahomes is one of the elite players in the National Football League. His Kansas City Chiefs locked up the #2 seed in the AFC and will face Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild card round of the payoffs. At Sunday’s game in Denver, Mahomes’ brother Jackson was taunted unnecessarily by a Broncos fan.

Before the game between the Chiefs and the Denver Broncos, a fan spotted Jackson Mahomes and Patrick’s fiancé, Brittany Matthews, on the field. They were just taking some videos and photos of the scene at Mile High. That’s when a fan decided to scream homophobic slurs at Jackson.

Brittany heard the comments. The future Mrs. Mahomes responded to the fan that they were being rude. It is unknown if any further actions were taken by the Mahomes family or if security got involved. It seems like Jackson was just fine.

The Mahomes family posed for a post-game picture. Jackson then shared the moment with his followers on Instagram. Patrick had the last laugh, sending the hateful fan home unhappy as KC beat Denver 28-24.
