Jenna Jameson Lost The Ability To Walk After Being Diagnosed With Guillain-Barré Syndrome

Jenna Jameson, former porn star and adult entertainment actress, got the diagnosis of the Guillain-Barré syndrome. The diagnosis came after the former actress’ legs grew so weak that they could not carry her weight.

Jameson’s partner Lior Bitton revealed to the concerned fans over on Instagram the whole story. It all started off with Jameson complaining about not feeling very great. She was taken to the hospital where she had to undergo a couple of tests. However, nothing really turned up.

Bitton said that she was throwing up for the last two weeks. To his surprise, Jameson was discharged and allowed to be taken home. That’s when the syndrome really started manifesting.

He said that after returning home, Jameson’s leg muscles started giving out. He started carrying her to and bringing her back from the washroom. After two days, she could not even walk.

Then she came back home and she couldn’t carry herself. Her muscles in her legs were very weak. So she wasn’t able to walk to the bathroom. She was falling on the way back or to the bathroom, I would have to pick her up and carry her to bed. And then within two days, it got really not so good, her legs started to not hold her, she wasn’t able to walk.

Jameson was taken back to the hospital, where after rigorous testing, she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome. The syndrome is known to be an auto-immune disease where the immunity system starts attacking nerves, which leads to the muscle weakness and even paralysis in extreme cases.

Even though the disorder could take anywhere from a few weeks to several years to fix, Jameson is already on a strong dose of immunoglobulin therapy. Let’s hope that her fans won’t have to wait to see her all patched up.
