Bob Saget, the man who played Danny Tanner on the hit throwback series Full House, has passed away. This is a terrible day for so many, including fans of his comedy and his portrayal of the famous OCD father.

TMZ has reported that Saget passed away at 65-years-old. Multiple sources for the outlet have confirmed this tragic news.

The cause of Saget’s death was not noted in the report. He passed away on Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida.

Saget was pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his passing are not clear. The Sheriff’s Department and fire department responded to a call from the hotel at around 4:00 PM EST. He was found in his room.

The legendary comedian and television father had a show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday night. He was known for his off-color humor, often shocking for those who only knew him from Full House. Sadly, that show would be his last.

He tweeted out on Sunday morning to give that Jacksonville crowd some love.

“Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this shit. Check http://BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022.”

This is a very sad day and our thoughts are with Bob Saget’s family and friends at this time. We’re certain that many will be binge watching his work on Full House after this, but might we suggest his brilliant stand-up comedy as well.

RIP
