Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner both care deeply for their children. While being a father, Ben Affleck is also one of the most popular figures in Hollywood. He recently opened up about his public perception affecting his kids.

Recently, Ben Affleck had an interview with Los Angeles Times. Ben said his public perception is very different from who he is as a person. Affleck talked about the “Sad Affleck” meme. He also discussed about how he’s worried about his kids’ reactions.

Ben mentioned that he didn’t care about his public perception at all until his kids got older. “But then, as my kids got older and started seeing the internet themselves, that’s the difficult part” Ben asserted. “Even the ‘Sad Affleck’ meme — that was funny to me. I mean, there’s nobody who hasn’t felt that way at a junket,” he continued.

Ben went on to admit that he did get concerned that his kids might take the memes literally, saying: “But then my kids see it and I think, ‘Oh, are they going to think their dad is fundamentally sad or they have to worry about me?’ That’s really tough.” Sad Affleck memes have been a staple on the internet since 2017 as the actor has been pictured looking overwhelmingly sad many times.
