Lil Uzi Vert aka Baby Pluto has demonstrated that he is a man of the people by hanging out with fans in New York City and showing up at unexpected weddings. Because Baby Pluto has a flair for doing things that most other celebrities wouldn’t, he has a strong bond with his admirers, and it looks that his influence has spread to the classroom.

A video of a teacher repeating Lil Uzi Vert lyrics to her kids in class went viral on Thursday, January 6. To help her communicate a lesson connected to a pivotal period in her life, the teacher recites rhymes from Uzi’s “P2”, off his 2020 album Eternal Atake.

I really could relate to some of the lyrics. The part I liked best, because it reminded me of a time in my life, was the passage: ‘I don’t really care ’cause I’m done/On the real, our love is not fun/There’s no emotion on my face ’cause I’m numb/ You see me everywhere you look; no, you can’t hide or run.’

When the teacher finished performing the chorus from “P2,” the class exploded, and one student even exclaimed, “She’s cold!” Meanwhile, the nameless teacher received a lot of love in the comments section of OurGenerationMusic’s Instagram post. “Whats her @ i want her teaching my kids,” one follower joked, while another wrote, “Teacher of the year goes to.”

She isn’t the only teacher who’s a fan of Lil Uzi Vert. Velvaire, a Reddit user, published an email exchange with their college algebra teacher in which the Philadelphia rapper’s name was utilized in a math assignment in 2019. The teacher could be one of the many Lil Uzi Vert fans eagerly anticipating the release of his new album, The Pink Tape.

Uzi teased the project at the start of 2021 and released a few tidbits over the course of the year. The album, however, has yet to be released. Take a look at some of the comments from the 2019 Reddit thread below.
