Julius Randle had an outstanding season with the New York Knicks in 2021, but things have since deteriorated for the power forward. He is no longer putting up the stats that earned him such a lucrative contract. Fans are starting to turn against him, which has resulted in some tense moments at Madison Square Garden. Last night, Julius Randle was not pleased with the welcome he received from Knicks fans.

The New York Knicks, for example, upset the Boston Celtics on a buzzer-beater Wednesday night, but Randle struggled for much of the game, prompting fans to boo him. Randle eventually became tired of the all and gave the audience a thumbs down before proceeding down the floor.

According to TMZ, after the game, Randle was confronted about the gesture, and it turns out that he was attempting to tell the audience to “shut the fu*k up.” Randle was annoyed by the supporters, and he expressed his discontent in the most courteous manner possible.

I really don’t give a f**k what anybody has to say, to be honest,” Randle said. “I’m out there playing. Nobody knows the game out there better than I do, compared to what everybody has to say. So, I really don’t give a s***. I just go out there and play.

Getting into a fight with Knicks supporters seldom ends well, though it’s evident that Randle is defending himself here. As the Knicks try to secure a postseason berth, he’ll need to get motivated and finish strong.
