Drakeo The Ruler’s Mom Wants $52K From Estate To Pay For Funeral Costs

The life of a rapper has its pros and cons, as it is never smooth sailing for anyone in the world of Hip-Hop. While there is certainly a lot of money and fame that comes with being a rapper, there is also the risk of gang warfare that ends in their deaths. That is what happened to Drakeo The Ruler as well.

According to TMZ, Drakeo the Ruler’s family can’t afford to pay his funeral costs, so they are turning to his estate for the money. As revealed by legal documentation, the late rapper’s mother said she can’t afford the $52,000 for his funeral.

She’d like to cover it with money from Drakeo’s estate, but she is unable to access his assets without a court order. She stated that the rapper’s assets should be at least $2 million. She is asking the court to let her use some of the funds to pay for a proper funeral.

It was said that the memorial she’s planning will be full of “dignity, style and grace.” The mother ended it by saying she needs the money soon as it’s difficult to reserve a spot with funeral homes due to an increase in COVID-related deaths.
