Twitter has given fans unprecedented access to major celebrities that just a decade ago was unfathomable. The social media giant has seen its share of incidents where the public attempted to cancel the career of major stars. Some of them have worked, others have not been as successful.

President Donald Trump used the platform as an outlet to spread misinformation regarding the United States election in 2020. It resulted in him being indefinitely banned from the site. He still has plenty of supporters with huge followings there to do his bidding.

One of those online warriors if Kevin Sorbo. The Hercules star regularly uses his Twitter account to share and spread false information about the global COVID-19 pandemic. Apparently, Twitter has had enough. Sorbo began trending as Twitter users began to relentlessly dunk on his controversial takes.

“REMEMBER in 2021 when once again Lucy Lawless beat Kevin Sorbo….”

“My first stint in Twitter jail was for calling Kevin Sorbo a c**t. I wear that sh*t like a badge of honor.”

“Congratulations to New York restaurants for successfully preventing outbreaks of Kevin Sorbo!”

Kevin Sorbo joins an elite stable of anti-vaccination, COVID-denying celebrities who have faced harsh criticism on social media. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was the face of the pro-COVID movement earlier this year after he misled the public about his vaccination status. It is ironic that Sorbo’s ignorant, tone-deaf tweets about a virus have themselves gone viral.
