Betty White sadly passed away just over two weeks from her 100th birthday. A celebration will still air to remember one of the world’s most beloved entertainers. 2022 started out without Betty White, but her memory will last forever.

White, The First Lady Of Television, was close with Vicki Lawrence of Mama’s Family fame. Betty White was actually on Vicki’s show back in the day.

Lawrence told Page Six that she spoke with Carol Burnett just after Betty passed away. Then she revealed Betty White’s last words before leaving us.

“I texted Carol and said, ‘This just sucks. I hate this. It’s just horrible to see the people you love so much go away. Carol wrote back and said, ‘I know, I know. I spoke to Betty’s assistant, who was with her when she passed, and she said the very last word out of her mouth was ‘Allen.’”

Allen Ludden, Betty White’s husband, passed away in 1981 at the age of 72 from stomach cancer. Her final word was his first name, as if she was calling out for him while she entered somewhere different.

Betty White was quite open about why she never had children. She put her career first and never regretted it. She was stepmother to Allen’s 3 kids. Betty White had quite a bond with Allen Ludden, one that could last into the afterlife, if you believe in that sort of thing.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
