Considered one of the most influential rappers of all time, Tupac Shakur has a lot of legend to his name. 2Pac knew his way around with words. Much of Shakur’s music has been noted for addressing contemporary social issues. He is considered a symbol of activism against inequality. He also had a lot of love for Jada Pinkett.

Tupac and Jada knew each other for a long time. It has widely been hailed that Jada was the love of Shakur’s life even though they never dated. The world has received glimpses of notes Tupac wrote about the actress.

One of the original queens of Rap, Yo-Yo, recently caught up with EURWeb Spotlight to speak about her romance with Tupac. Tupac was one of her greatest loves. She had nothing but praise for the late artist.

“We were in love and we loved each other until the day he died, Pac became like a brother to me.  We were just two people on the road who found each other, fell in love with each other.  We spent many nights on the road together.  He wasn’t perfect nor was he trying to be.  He wasn’t afraid to talk about his community,  about his parents, stuff that people don’t what to hear about, stuff people don’t want to talk about.  People don’t want to talk about their truth. That kind of love he had for truth made me love him more. ”

However, Yo-Yo doesn’t think Jada is the greatest love of his life. Tupac had a love for Jada but he had a love for women. She said Tupac was organic and that he was strong in all ways in his life.

Earlier this year on Pac’s 50th birthday, Jada Pinkett Smith shared another handwritten poem for Pac called “Lost Soulz.” She wrote in a caption of her reading the unpublished work, “Let’s remember him for that which we loved most … his way with words.”

The details of how Tupac was will always be interesting to read. He has etched his mind on paper in such a way that people would never ever forget him.
