Ryan Reynolds Says The World Looks Different After Betty White’s Passing

Ryan Reynolds and Betty White shared a deep friendship. The two often joked about how close they were to each other. Reynolds recently reacted to Betty’s claim that he is unable to move on from her.

The duo worked together in movies such as The Proposal, where Betty played Ryan’s Grandma. Both the actors are famous for their witty humor. Their joyful personality is what cemented their bond. Ryan Reynolds was deeply saddened by Betty’s passing.

When the news of Betty’s passing reached Reynolds, he posted a tribute to Betty. On his Instagram and Twitter Ryan got very emotional and said the world will never be the same without Betty. “The world looks different now. She was great at defying expectation. She managed to grow very old and somehow, not old enough. We’ll miss you, Betty. Now you know the secret.” Ryan captioned on a photo of Betty White smiling.

Ryan often joked by referring to Betty as his ex-girlfriend. White did not back out on the banter either. In a recent interview with People ahead of her 100th birthday. she joked about Reynolds’ infatuation with her. “I’ve heard Ryan can’t get over his thing for me,” she told the outlet, “but Robert Redford is The One.”

Ryan also took part in the publication’s homage to White, telling People that he’s been a fan of the comedy legend for a long time. After the article was published, Reynolds couldn’t help but respond in his signature humor. Ryan tweeted Dec. 30, “I’m absolutely sick of the media exploiting past relationships just to drive clicks.”

Betty’s career spanned eight decades but she remained timeless. Betty White’s legacy and memory will certainly be celebrated forever. We are deeply saddened by this loss. RIP Betty White.
