Jack Harlow himself is now a platinum-selling rap star who evolved from far less. An incident took place outside of the Generation Now rapper’s show at The Roxy Theater in Atlanta on Tuesday, December 28 where a cop choked a female fan. The whole time this fan just cried about wanting to see Harlow perform. Now, following Jack Harlow’s call for a cop to be fired, the police have issued a statement.

On 28th December, outside The Roxy Theater, a woman was shouting at the cops and asking them to let her go. The cops came closer and strangled her neck and pushed her back. After uploading a video of a lady being beaten by a police officer outside one of the rapper’s recent gigs, Jack Harlow is calling for action.

Following Jack Harlow’s plea for an Atlanta officer to be fired for an incident in which a female fan was choked out after being denied admittance to the event, the Cobb County Police Department issued a statement.

“Any and all complaints of officer misconduct are taken very seriously by the Cobb County Police Department. We are aware of the video sample of our officer with a young woman outside the Coca-Cola Roxy that was shared to Instagram. Before any potential action is taken, the incident is undergoing an internal review to have a complete picture of the situation.”

Jack reposted the video along with the caption, “I was disgusted by that cop and all I wanted to do was make something good happen for this girl immediately…I told the world to help me identify her so I could find a way to give her a hug and give her as many tickets to as many shows as she wants.”

Jack then added, “But that’s not enough and its not a solution to a systemic issue that people who don’t look like me have to face. The next step is identifying this police officer and getting him unemployed as fast as we can. Assaulting a young woman and putting his hands on her neck is sickening.”

Citizens are mad at the police department after seeing their behavior toward that woman. Jack wants that cop to be fired. We will have to see if the police do anything about this situation after conducting their “internal investigation.”
